My heart hurts. Peaches was a delight and a tragedy all in one. The Bennett family continue to be thrown far more than anybody should, and they continue to handle it with grace even when they really don’t have to. I love them.

Olivia is such a sweetie, but I still have so many more questions about her background, particularly her general feeling and self-esteem in her early twenties. We don’t really get her relationship history, just hints at it, and I think that would make her reasonings to want to ‘practice’ a bit clearer, as well as why she feels undesirable when, clearly, she is not.

I knew Rhett’s story would break me. I’d have loved to have delved into him even more but I don’t think my heart could handle it. He is the ultimate middle child, and I ache for him and how badly I want him to love himself.

Melody, Brooks and their boys’ story is a heartbreaker. Approach with caution, and make the most of the good days. I don’t know what more to say. I sobbed for their family and their hurt, but it was written absolutely beautifying (the pictures the boys drew? Oh my god). I’m desperate to see Brooks get a win in the upcoming books.

Can Sugar come out tomorrow please? I’m not ready to say goodbye to Saddlebrook Falls just yet.
