Minor Detail

This book gets pretty repetitive and very descriptive. The parallels between the two chapters are blatantly obvious but still interesting. This feels like a book club book, where you can really dive deeper into the text and discuss it. The rape and murder on 08.13.1949 did actually happen, which makes this book even more real. Also, the fact that we don’t get any names in this book is quite interesting and makes the whole thing more impersonal and spooky. This could happen and has happened to anyone. This text gets more haunting the more you think about it.
