The Door to December by Dean Koontz

4.0

Roughly about 3.5. It was a gripping read, and I did enjoy it, but the outdated views on autism are definitely hard to look past. I understand at the time it wasn't a well researched topic, and it's interesting to learn how it was viewed in the eighties, but it's a book that doesn't age well.

Nonetheless, it's a decent enough read, if you're interested in the idea of brainwashing/the effects it has on the human psyche. Probably wouldn't read again.
