A really well-written novel about loneliness, longing, regret, monotony… quite depressing and slow-paced, but you come to know the characters and their inner monologues in great detail.  I would definitely recommend this book only if you’re willing to keep going through what may seem like a very boring read at first - not that the pace really picks up, but it’s worth it to understand the depth of each of the characters.
