I enjoyed the two voices telling this story. I loved how the mystery of what happened to Sarah unfolded. Some of the parts of Julia's current life I didn't really care about. I guess it was the authors way of making sure she was a character in her own right. I liked learning about the round-up in France. That was totally new information to me. This would make a good book club book because there are a lot of discussion points.
