“The Room is a drama that is also a comedy that is also an existential cry for help that is finally a testament to human endurance.”

4 stars. The Room is one of those films you really need to see to believe. It's one of the worst movies ever put on film and I love it so much. It's an absolute riot and I could quote it all damn day. ("YOU ARE TEARING ME APAHT LISAAH!") What can I say, I'm a fan of terrible movies and this about as bad as they get.

Anyways, this book was a great listen. Greg Sestero narrates it himself and let me tell you he does a fantastic Tommy Wiseau impression and I died laughing every single time. I loved hearing about the making of this train wreck of a 'movie' and while it was hilarious it also had this unexpected depth to it that I wasn't expecting and it was kind of heartfelt. Plus, Greg and Tommy's friendship is so freaking odd that it's almost charming. I think.

I highly recommend this book but you should definitely watch The Room first. Well, technically, one doesn't watch The Room they experience it. Either way you have to see it and then pick up this book for the full, bizarre and utterly hilarious experience.
