A Man from Mandu by Manoj V. Jain

4.0

I’ve received this book as a gift from a stranger on internet. All I had to do was to comment on one of her social media posts and she put this book in the mail for me. After receiving, I had no real intentions of reading it anytime sooner but may be this is what I needed on a bad day where my national cricket team was on the losing side.

Social media is flooded with millions of quotes everyday and Manoj Jain just built a story with few such quotes. The story is mainly about 2 characters and the way it is written with just few quotes unraveling one short story in each chapter is great. The open ended short stories put you to work and make you think. They let you connect to the story, the way you wish. All stories hits the spots.

I’ve never read any of Manoj’s books in the past but after reading this book I’m looking forward to read all other books written by him ....
