I had no opinions going into this book before reading nor did I quite understand what it was about from the short description. That being said, I was neither disappointed or impressed with this book.
I loved the different perspectives of Campbell and Lena. I feel that being able to learn their emotions helped me to understand what the characters were going through. The relationship which is in a way the backbone of the entire story was one that you see often. A girl chasing after a guy that doesn't seem to care much about her. However, this seems to have changed towards the end of the novel when Black chooses to stay with Lena rather than his friends.
I feel like this is a plot that was drawn out and dramatized far too much. However, it is very easy and quick to read. If I hadn't been so busy, I could have finished this book in a day.
