The Boy Between: A Mother and Son's Journey From a World Gone Grey
by Amanda Prowse, Josiah Hartley
Kind of sped through this book. I'm sure this was extremely difficult to write about, and in many ways it was also difficult to read. It's hard to determine a rating for it, because it's such a raw and honest account that I don't know how to "place a judgment" on it. I guess it just is what it is. I don't think they could've done any better or worse because it was their story to tell, you know? It's not the type of narrative that benefits from a particular writing style or voice or by embellishments. I feel like this that was just their way of delivering their own truth as best they could, and I really admire that.
