Definitely quirky.  This translation from German brings a perspective to the aging population that is decidedly novel to this American. Agnes is our protagonist and she is simultaneously plucky and vulnerable. She and her housemates become embroiled in a trio of murders and between their failing memories and the planted evidence, narrowly escape being accused of committing the crimes.
