To preface my review, one of my favourite series in the world is the Once Upon a Con series by Ashley Poston. So, because of that, I will read anything by Ashely Poston. Have I loved anything else by her? Not yet. But I am always willing to give her newer books a shot.
Now onto Among the Beasts & Briars. I was enjoying the plot at first. I loved Cerys' magic and Fox becoming a person was so interesting and different. But then the last couple of chapters fell short for me. The ending felt rushed and was very predictable (a lot of the things were predictable throughout). I wish this could've been maybe a series (a duology?) so that I wouldn't be left with this feeling that there was something missing.
Overall, wasn't bad, was a quick read, but not my favourite.
