I really wanted to like this, but I thought that both of the main characters were far too stereotypical. Daisy was a typically quirky smart girl who plans too much and lives her life by a spreadsheet, and Liam was a typically bad boy with a dark past but secretly a softie at heart. The fake-dating trope wasn't believable to me. It was said that Liam and Daisy had a lot of history, but this was only talked about in abstract terms of "we've known each other forever" with no specific details. The progression of their relationship was also unrealistic, because Daisy went from hating him to loving him in no time at all, and there wasn't enough background for me to believe that this was because of their history. I didn't totally hate this book, but I wasn't invested in the relationship because there were way too many other things going on with the side characters.
Graphic: Child abuse, Domestic abuse, and Car accident
Moderate: Abandonment
