This is a book about a grieving family and how they move through a big loss. Some of the writing is very choppy and hard to read at times. I think this is meant to be the reflection of the thoughts of a grieving man, and while I get it, I had a hard time following what was happening some of the time. The book is a bit long as well. It is entertaining and the characters are mostly well developed (1 central character doesn’t have as much development).
