I’ve been avoiding mystery novels since my last disappointing one and The Reappearance of Rachel Price reminded me why I love the genre.

Holly Jackson gives us everything we could want and more. The story is twisty and you always have questions. When you think you have the answers, you find more questions.

She does a great job at leaving us crumbs all throughout the story and then pulling every little bit together to present us a picture we could’ve never seen.

The characters are interesting and multifaceted and they all bring something to the story. No one is there without purpose and nothing is said or done without intention.

Even though the pacing isn’t necessarily fast, I still found it to be addicting. I had so many questions and no theories that I was desperate for answers.

The only thing that could’ve made this better for me was if we just had a little bit more time with Bel and Ash.
