A fast pace mystery-thriller novel. We followed Quinn's story as the sole survivor of the Pine Cottage Murder. We have a perspective of a victim who tried her best to put her past behind her. Unfortunately, her past caught her and she had to face it, yet again. Did she survive or did she not? That is the question for you to find out.

Some comments on the book... I like the how the author wrote one how one did to supress their old memories,  old wounds. Some succumbed to being an addict, some had no will to live on and succumbed to committing suicide, or some creating a new persona to erase their old identity. I also enjoyed the past and present POV of the main character. Also, the way how the author wrote about the relationship between the victim and their loved ones was great. I would definitely love to read more of Riley's work.
