Yes, this book was definitely an upgrade over the first volume! I enjoyed this so much and wanted to read more and more.
This book focused more on healing Lily's addiction and it was so beautifully explained. She had her depths, but through her friends and family, she found the strength to come out of it. We also saw her love towards Lo grow and this time not in a destructive way. Her emotions felt so raw and pure and I could completely sympathise in Lily's mind. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of Lo and his path to sobriety, and his emotions, though. And besides, the flirtation between Ryke and Daisy was so much fun! While it's unfortunate that she's underage, there's no going over the top, and I can't wait to see the romance between these 2 grow. Also, the relationship between Rose and Connor is so pure and fun. This book is not just about love, but friendship and family shape us into the person we are.
I can't wait to dive into the next part!
