“Can a dog be twins?”⠀
I’m not quite sure what to say about this book. I loved and hated it. I found it hard to comprehend what I was reading most of the time. It just didn’t make sense to me. To be honest I don’t really read a lot of critical literature for that reasons.
Until I got to Part 2. ‘No one is talking about this’ by #patricialockwood is definitely worth a read, just don’t go into it thinking it’s like most fiction. In fact, it could be like you’re ready 2 books at once. The first, a string of conscious thoughts or feelings about what a woman is seeing on social media and how it’s affecting her. The second, about her family and how it adapts and is brought closer by an unexpected situation in her sister’s pregnancy.
If anything, the second part should have been a book all on its own, making people aware of Proteus Syndrome. Fiction or nonfiction, I’d be a fan of that. Not hidden in a story about social media?
