Twisted Love by Ana Huang
4.0
what in the holy fuck?
this was not what I was expecting, truly. I went in not really knowing what to expect. I just went in knowing that I might not like Alex because not many people do, but honestly he's okay in my opinion. could there have been more groveling from him? oh most definitely but at the same time he's learning what it means to love someone. so honestly I get that he didn't want to hurt her anymore and I get that he didn't really understand his feelings. maybe I'm just absolutely nuts for forgiving him, but honestly I just see the best in him. but I'm also still low key mad at him for what he did.
I loved the characters, I loved the plot, I loved the relationship, and I love the character development. I'm more of a person who looks for some good character development when I'm reading romance but the plot for this one was intriguing. and i can tell from the epilogue that the plot of the next book will be just as intriguing or even better. I've basically met all the characters except for Christian which is exciting because it gives him more of a mysterious vibe. I already have a little feeling that Rhys is going to be my favorite just from the snippet I got of him in this book.
I enjoyed this a lot and kinda glad that I waited to read them until all of them were out because I don't have to wait for the next ones to come out. if you see me binge these no you don't. i already know that I'm going to love the rest of the series because I've heard they just get better and better from here, but also longer. i like the way ana writes, its different but a good different. this was a good book to dive back into my romance genre after only reading fantasy for a while.
