Manhunt by Gretchen Felker-Martin
3.0
About as unique a take on the zombie genre as you can get. I really appreciated its drama, its commentary, its characters and how many times the word 'cum' was used.
One big thing was holding this book back: the structure. It's made up of short segments, and we flip around a lot of different points of view in the blink of an eye. It was really confusing when action was going on, some of those sequences were hard to picture.
I also wish this hadn't been categorized as horror. It's not scary. It's just very gross. If anything I'd categorize this as post apocalyptic queer action drama?
