I’m definitely much older than the demographic for this book, but I enjoyed these short stories as an easy read nonetheless!

There are three short stories, each wildly different from one another, but revolve around a similar theme of these kids having a wish. Each of these kids wishes are granted, but the results come with a price.

It becomes increasingly tense and morbid as the stories progress, with one kid finding the bodies of dead children, another finding and describing the gorey severed remains of a child, and another bring forced to chose how they will be killed. So this isn’t just some creepy book for little kids. I think anyone under the age of 12 should be extremely weary about reading.

However, for anyone old enough to read, it’s dark and tense and fun. Good for Goosebumps fans!
