I was actually so surprised by how beautifully simple this book was. After hearing the premise, I always assumed it would push the ‘world’ more, but instead it just allows it to be something that the characters exist within. We see everything through them and Kathy. And that makes it emotionally resonant to me. Kind of loved this book.
