only liked the vampire bit. structure was dreadful. who was the human woman and why was i meant to care about her or her mother? no hook, no interest, just plucked from a interesting perspective straight into the diary of a woman i didn’t know, didn’t care about and couldn’t connect to the main story. dreadful
