This was so unbelievably good. The writing, the pacing, the plot, the characters. All of it. Absolutely amazing and I’m so happy I read it. If you are craving a fast paced, plot twist after plot twist, fantasy read that deals with Greek mythology, THIS IS IT FRIENDS.

I also want to say, the way the book also dived into deep discussions about sexism, male entitlement, SA, and victim blaming was amazing. I did not expect those themes to be present in this book, but it truly completed the story. I am also so happy with the way that SA was discussed, as it was not a plot device used for “shock” to never be mentioned again (like many books often do) but was instead a part of a story that we saw the impact from. It did not define a character, but it wasn’t brushed off as “no big deal.” It was handled with respect and poise. This was such an amazing and important read to me and I’ll be recommending it over and over again for sure.
