Took me forever to finish. I honestly was SO close to DNFing but decided to see it through since I plan on reading Magnolia Parks eventually to see what the hype is about that. This let me down tremendously. Too many dashes, typos, and overall the writing just annoyed me. I understand they are British but some phrases and the use of “don’t I?l and “innit?” Over and over again on Joah’s perspective specifically was TOO MUCH. I wanted to throw the book at the wall. Also don’t understand how these characters fell so hard for each other so quickly since she gave little context or build up between the two of them and just jumped to full OBSESSION. Definitely can see this being entertaining enough if someone listened to the audiobook…. Maybe I should’ve done myself that favor lol
