The Burnout Society by Byung-Chul Han

4.0

This was a really quick read, and I wasn't fully convinced by the argument that we have moved past a disciplinary society (I mean honestly, it came out before Trump and covid and it shows). I was intrigued by the discussion of depression as an affliction of over-positivity, though. All in all much briefer and less conpelling than The Scent of Time was, but I will definitely pick up more before passing final judgment.
