Light-hearted story-telling, in the vein of the Princess Bride. Not as epic or surprising as some of Sanderson's other work, in mynopinion, but it was more of a cozy tale which doesn't take itself too seriously. A bit of tonal whiplash to read it after re-reading Mistborn Era 1, but still a delightful story.
Moderate: Gun violence, Terminal illness, Violence, Vomit, Medical content
Minor: Body horror, War
