it was a DNF for me due to the transphobia. the author has a relationship with a trans man who she constantly deadnames and misgenders and speaks about his identity in such a judgmental manner

the author is also extremely privileged and doesn’t incorporate any reflection about that, at least not in the first 50% of the book
