The Tenant by Freida McFadden
3.0
dark tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

After reading the inmate by her I kind of felt like this book gave the same plot almost but told differently with different characters and storyline obviously.

I still enjoyed reading the book, and wanting to know what happened next  and being the mood reader that I am I picked this up but it felt slow but not at the same time. Some scenes that played out with Blake on finding what was causing the smell of even the fruit flies could’ve been cut short in detailed. However, 70% into the book I really didn’t expect it to happen like that because of how the author wrote the mmc and the roommate storyline and then decided to switch it on me like that even though there was signs throughout the entire book that there was something going to happen but I didn’t pay enough attention to it. And I had a “oh. My. Gosh” moment  and it started to make sense. Especially when part 2 came around and we got to see Krista’s pov.

I do recommend Freida McFadden books ESPECIALLY the inmate by her then the boyfriend then the tenant.
