Meet My Boyfriend by Willowy Whisper
5.0
I wish this book was longer.
I mean, seriously, people. Willowy Whisper is GOOD. This is only the second book of hers that I've read, but I promise you it was absolutely amazing. MEET MY BOYFRIEND is definitely not a normal story... About a kind-hearted girl who agreed to attending a dance with a guy who only had one arm... only because she pitied him? Only to have her realize that this guy has a heart of gold and doesn't need her pity?
Yeah, okay, please sign me up immediately.
It was the blurb of this book that hooked me from the beginning. The very idea of what was going on was enough to put in on my to-read shelf. And I was not disappointed! In fact, I had no idea Willowy's writing would be so darn good. This was the sweetest little novella ever, and I totally loved every moment of it! Yeah, my only regret was it not being any longer, but even that can be sidelined when you think about the beautiful story contained in these little black words on paper (or in my case, electronic paper... oh, whatever).
The story was beautiful. As the Chinese say, I have "no language" for this book! I loved Claire and felt for her, and I loved Levi and felt for him too, and then there was Payton I was like, uh, but then I'm pretty sure she redeemed herself in the end so that wasn't too bad. The romance was just so sweet and perfect and everything and.... ahhhh. I'm going to reread this soon.
So, if you're reading this review and wondering whether or not to read this book, stop hesitating immediately and go check it out. I promise you will not be disappointed; I certainly wasn't! It gets a round five stars from me!
*I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. A positive review was not required; all opinions expressed are my own.*
