No Dream Is Too High: Life Lessons from a Man Who Walked on the Moon by Ken Abraham, Buzz Aldrin

4.0

I received an advanced copy of this book through a Goodreads giveaway. Besides knowing that Buzz Aldrin was on Apollo 11, I didn't know much about him. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. The title suggested self-help, but I was really hoping to learn more about his adventures in the space program. And I wasn't disappointed! There were still plenty of stories about his experiences, not just in space and on the moon, but as a fighter pilot, underseas, and all over the world.

His confidence was clear and contagious, but did tend to come off as a bit braggy at times. I found him rather difficult to relate to. But it was still exciting to read about all the fascinating experiences he's had. Even if I did turn a little green with envy at times.

Overall, this book had many inspiring and encouraging moments within it. I feel more motivated to step out of my comfort zone and try new things myself. I learned a lot about the history of the space program, as well as what the future may hold. Now I am eager to learn more, not just about space, but about everything.
