An interesting premise that just, unfortunately, didn't really go anywhere. Nothing go resolved and from the foreword (which I read afterward), that was kinda the point. Open-ended books can be thought-provoking, but this wasn't the case for me. Also, the prose was much too flowery and I kept getting people confused, despite the handy character list at the beginning.
