Ever since Ignite Me, things have really been picking up the pace but I am sad about Aaron and Juliette. I know it’s my own fault but damn, people can’t have a simple happy relationship in these stories can they? Again, I know it’s my fault for getting into it, it’s a common trope, I just feel so yo-yo’d by this series already and I’m just hoping there’s some sort of happy ending because I was really getting into the new coupling.
Otherwise, the action is here, it’s picking up, we have an intense conflict picking up and to be honest, I’m glad the more artistic and poetic stylings have lessened, it’s simply not my style. But the story and characters are really flowing now and I’m fully invested
(Although did we really need a whole chapter dedicated to nothing but a single punctuation point?)
