American Royals III: Rivals by Katharine McGee

3.75

This entry in the series felt a little flatter than the first two, sometimes like things were being stretched to fill the book. For a "everyday" "normal" "common" girl, Nina sure doesn't pay much attention to her regular friends/family/life, and the
friendship between her and Daphne erased some of the foil situations that had been established but in a somewhat creative/interesting way. Jeff still felt flat to me, and Sam was so obviously going to get serious with her boy that it was annoying how long it took her to figure that out. I really hated how easily Beatrice's arc with the foreign royalty/climate bill got resolved.
