You Deserve Each Other

You Deserve Each Other had a fun premise and a few cute moments near the end, but overall it just didn’t work for me. Naomi and Nicholas spent most of the book locked in a cycle of petty sabotage and emotional immaturity that made it hard to root for them as a couple. While I appreciate the message about putting effort into a relationship and rediscovering connection, the execution leaned too heavily on miscommunication and manipulation instead of meaningful growth. By the time things started to improve, I couldn’t buy into the sudden emotional turnaround. I wanted flirty banter and layered tension, but what I got felt more like a toxic tug-of-war than a romance.
