Ok I loved this way more than I expected. I didn’t pick up this book for so long because ex boyfriends dad is cringe. But honestly, I was easily able to ignore that red flag and that age gap didn’t bother me much. Ideally it would have been better if the MC was a little older but that seems to be a theme with age gap romances so I got over it, because pike is 10/10.
Character development was amazing and the MC’s had an actual healthy relationship which is always appreciated.
This book got me out of a reading slump. It is definitely taboo but for someone who isn’t into taboo romances and really doesn’t like age gaps, I absolutely loved this.
