⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Much like unravelling a string of festive lights, my Christmas book marathon continues.

If you’ve read anything of Jaimie Admans before, you know what you’re in for - a sweet story, touching moments, wholesome light romance, and festive holiday magic.

All of these books are similar in nature - you know they are going into it, but you don’t care. You crave it like you crave Christmas cookies and hot cocoa. Even being very similar in storyline, there’s still a lot of room for a book like this to tank. Fortunately, Admans has it down to a science and is capable of delivering a near-perfect batch of holiday treats. I docked one star just because it was slow-moving in places and some aspects of character development felt rushed…but given there’s only 330 pages to work with, I suppose you have to get on with things.
