This was not a favorite for me, though I was clearly not the target audience for this book. The target audience seems younger than the typical YA book. The writing sometimes feels like reading a young-girl's journal, which was not enjoyable for me, and was highly predictable. This book is heavy on the poor communication trope, which is also not my favorite.
