Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

i really tried pushing on with this and hoping i’d enjoy reading it the more i progressed, but it just never happened. and i can’t do another 200 or so pages. there were some pieces in here that i did enjoy, and got something from, and then others that were a real effort to get through, and others i could barely decipher. i think i just really don’t get along with toni morrison’s writing style, unfortunately.
