by Jodi Picoult
Judi Picoult has a style of writing that really pulls you in, and this book is no different. It was a little difficult in the beginning, as she introduced a whole lot of characters, with no clear way of seeing how they were all intertwined.
However, once you got past the introductions, the novel really took off. This is a story about the human range of emotions. From love to despair, this book covers it all.
I'd have rated it higher than three stars, because I truly did enjoy it, however I did find it a bit predictable throughout. There wasn't much I wasn't able to figure out long before it was explained in the book. Though, like most of her novels, her ending did include a bit of a surprise that wasn't expected.
All in all, a very good book.
