This series only went downhill. The only thing it had going for it was the fact that I had a small attachment to the characters. The plot was weak throughout every single book but the first. This entire book was basically unnecessary, about 200 pages of fluff for 50 pages of actual plot.
The idea of the series was fine, it would have been better served as a duology or trilogy, rather than 5 really short books. The plot could have been a little deeper and more involved as well.
Overall, this wasn't a bad series, but certainly not a good series. The world is interesting, and the characters are likable-Jasper is my favorite! I think this is definitely better suited for a much younger audience. If you're any older than 15 or 16, I'd suggest skipping this series.
