A Killer Ending by Karen MacInerney

5.0

Oh, look! A new series by Karen MacInerney....yep..onto the Nook it goes. She is one of my favorite authors and know I won't go wrong with anything she writes.
This one has all the main ingredients: woman startng over in a small town after a divorce, small pet [dog], trying her hand at being a small business owner, things go a bit awry....murder and mayhem ensue....perfect cozy/amateur sleuth fodder that I adore.
I liked the setting, the characters, the premise. She owns a bookstore that she used to frequent when she was growing up and spending summers in Snug Harbor. She has friends from that time and fond memories. She really wants to start over.
I read this quickly and enjoyed my time. My Nook time is generally just before sleep and I like going to sleep happy. Reading this book made me happy, spending time in Snug Harbor made me happy. I really look forward to the rest of the series as the books come out. No rush, Karen MacInerney, but really really looking forward the next books.....
I can definitely recommend this book, series and author.
