All The Lost Souls by Amie Jordan

adventurous dark mysterious medium-paced

5.0

What an absolutely incredible, warm hug of a book! All The Lost Souls picks right back where All These Hidden Monster has left off, and being reunited with Sage, Oren, P, and the rest of the gang, has felt like being home again.

In this instalment, Sage and Oren are on their way to the Jura mountains in France, as they are on a secret Arcanūm mission that involves mediation with other wolf packs, witches, and other magical creatures. But things quickly turn dark, as a mysterious, black fog emerges upon the mountain villages and kills everything it touches.

The supernatural element in the book weaves in perfectly into the fantasy world that Amie has created. Character depth and storyline flow together seamlessly, no stone left unturned. I have loved being part of the ever so slightly growing romance between Oren and Sage, and oh boy, are we all now just subject to extremely unrealistic expectations of being shifted to Paris for dinner?!

Aside from a splendid main cast of characters, we have some absolutely fantastic secondary characters. P, obviously, who is everyone’s favourite chef poltergeist and master negotiator, is someone I want as a best friend. Hozier and Berion are absolutely incredible additions to wrap up our little Arcanūm family, and the other wolves and even the witches have been developed in a way that reels the readers into the magical world of All The Lost Souls.

I cannot wait to see what else Amie is keeping up her sleeve, but I am already so excited for the third book, and will be shouting about this one from the rooftops!
