This book reminded me of many other books in this genre. A mother who believes her child is evil. A father that doesn't see it.
What is different about this one is the end. I was able to feel so sad for this Hanna even though I could see how mean she was. And I felt such despair for the parents. This book is only 300 or so pgs but at some points it felt very slow. However I would read a follow up on what happens with them. I was very invested in the characters in this story. 3.5 rounded up.
