There were some moments throughout this book when I thought to myself "wow, this author really gets it!" regarding depression, but then by the end of the book I felt like ... no, he gets it about as much as anyone else who isn't a trained professional might. I liked this book, especially Will's chapters, but I have to sadly say the movie was better.
