Sweet Shadows by Tera Lynn Childs

4.0

mini review since I have not enough battery to write a full one on my iPod.

basically, this book is a good installment to the series. there is action, more mystery, and some information is revealed. all in all it is enjoyable and I would say an improvement over Sweet Venom because now the reader knows the sisters and the author starts to go in depth with them. I found i liked the characters and I could relate to them. the only possible issue I noticed was that since there are three different POVs the story doesn't progress very well because each sister has different stuff going on. the book didn't feel complete enough with it's own plot. instead it felt like a continuation. you know after you finish a book sometimes you'll get this feeling that not much happened and you wish you could read more although rationally you know that a lot did happen? that's how I feel. I want to read more. I want some solid answers and I want to feel like the book is complete.

anyway I can't wait to read the sequel. the premise is fantastic and there's a lot of potential for this to be a great story, especially with the war, monster fighting and mythology. definitely a series to keep an eye on. 3.5 stars.
