This was so sweet and heartfelt. I felt with the various characters which is difficult to do in so few pages.
The son made me soo mad and the mom was so sweet, tears ran down my face at the letter!
I also sidenote and not very relevant, liked the little bits of hanyu pinyin because I haven't read that in a while. It felt more authentic that it wasn't all just in english. The animals were adorable too.
It's beautiful how big a role translation plays in the story. How important is for us to understand each other and connect, otherwise relationship wither and potential relationships never start.
