I loved the twists and turns this novel took with the different times and characters. I kept trying to guess how many of the people were connected: I do enjoy when books have a voice from different generations and a common thread.
This novel does great with showing the circumstances and events of human ancient history and current history and modern justice causes as having different names but at their core are the same fight for equity and love and kindness instead of legislating and canonizing hate and bad laws.
