I'm going to need a significant nap before I start the next series.
Six of Crows seems to be the novel that the fandom collectively adores so I'll be praying it's at least slightly better than this trilogy was.
Honestly? The idea behind this trilogy was good. The plot was good. The universe was good. And SOME of the characters were good but Alina and Mal killed it for me. Judging by other reviews Mal at least killed it for everyone.
I do have hope for the Netflix adaptation though. It's well cast and this plot will work well as a TV series so long as they fix the characters and maybe cut out a good 80% of the relationship dramas.
