I'm quite fond of the original tale of Oz, but Danielle did something with it that I never expected anyone to do.
And I loved every minute of it.
Granted, it had its dark parts, making stomach churn. But this isn't the happy, lovely Oz where the bluebirds sing.
It's new, it's intoxicating, and it's getting five stars.
