I really loved this book. It was a total shift from the first three books in the series. All of a sudden, you’re introduced to new lands, new characters, and an entire new world full of magic and new magical creatures that you didn’t even know existed before. It’s almost as if SJM was selling well with her books and she got the freedom to expand the world three fold. While the other three books were good, this was just great. Everything you want in a fantasy. Also it’s hard to tell where this is going. Specifically with the love interest. There have been so many, and so far that is not a main part of the character plot. This book really got me into the series, and I’m very excited to read more.
